Everything was amazing during 2 days, enjoyed its absolutely perfect and favourable location just off Congress Hall and all that makes Cape May special and the end of the boardwalk park and park on the property. The team provided a friendly service and the room was pet-friendly and good sized with a pullout couch and drinks, as example.
Their staff were absolutely rude.

Beach front location, beach bar with fire pit, lovely swimming pool, sun decks, free sunbeds on the beach, huge room. Wish we had stayed longer. We drove the whole length of the New Jersey shore. Cape May was by far the nicest place to stay.

Proximity to everything and the bar had a good firepit to lounge around and socialize including good live music.
Too expensive for the quality of room. Bathroom awful too small had to climb over the garbage pail to reach the shower and the sinks backed up - they did not fix it even after i complained

The rusty nail was the best part about staying here I think. Great food and atmosphere. I was worried that the live music would keep us awake. But they stop playing outside at 9 and take the music inside the restaurant. Our room was clean. The rooms are on the smaller side but four of us in a room was okay. I would def stay here again! Also u can walk a couple blocks down to the dead end and watch the sunset behind the cape may lighthouse which is beautiful! Also location of the outdoor mall is four blocks up and two over. Make sure to take a horse n buggy ride while ur there. It's worth the money!

The location is fantastic, just across the street from the beach. Our garden suite shack was nice and clean, with a separate living space. The beach service was great, with quick food delivery and fresh towels. The pool was beautiful too!
wifi was pretty poor, a bummer.

Proximity to ocean and shops!
Room's a/c system was loud. We wanted to turn off a/c and open windows, but there were no screens on windows.

This hotel didn't have all the frills in the rooms, however the atmosphere and the location made up for it. We were on the third floor (no elevators) with a beach view as well as overlooked The Rusty Nail restaurant, where there is a fire pit surrounded by sand and chairs to hang. We chatted with neighboring guests and kids played in sand together. Hotel was walking distance to shops which was nice. All around really pleasant stay.

Towel service, umbrella service, poolside and beachside food service. The service was excellent!
Kind of pricey compared to other hotels in the area.

We liked the size of the rooms, the comfort of the beds, the pool, the umbrellas and lounge chairs at the beach. The nice staff all over. The restaurant was excellent as well (Rusty Nail). My sisters, aunts, and I thought the food was delicious.
One day my sister and I noticed the lounge chairs outside the unit of three bedrooms (I learned the specifics of the unit later). We thought they were for everyone's use, and we laid on them and were embarrassed when one of the guests from the unit came out and began talking to us...She didn't shoo us off; but we got the message. Could you label the chairs as you do the door of the unit as private? Thanks.

My family had a great time at Beach Shack. The room was nicely decorated and the beds and linnens were very comfortable. We had two queen beds, a small seating area, and even a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and tableware which was great for eating in when you wanted to avoid going out for every meal. The on-site Rusty Nail Restaurant/Bar was perfect for eating, drinking, or just hanging out at the fire pit. It was great for adults or families with kids of all ages. There is great indoor and outdoor seating, with views of the boardwalk and a huge area for kids to roam and play in the sand. The best part was the beach service: just show your room key to the staff on the beach, and they would set up lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towles for hotel guests. We would definitely stay there again.
